Alright you slackers I know there's a few of you that have recently gotten crawlers lets see them!

Over the last 6 months there have been some pretty cool rtr and kit rigs coming out

I'm in the same boat, I need to finish that chassis and get a bunch of parts, but I am doing a few things to change up the ol blazer..

Trying my and at building an aluminum body, it'll be a fj40 hood, cowl, and windshield frame rest will be tubing. I have the parts just meet time.

Only with my rc crawlers. Lol the full size not so much. Until last Sat it was ready to go.

That green cj I did a bunch of work on a year ago. Bumpers, new cage and redid the floor pan and hood hinges. Thing was a tank

Yes it was... If I remember correctly when I finished it, the final weight was around 11 lbs all said and done.  I sold it to some guy from Sunnyside 2 or 3 years ago.   The flat fender weighed considerably less, about half.

Yeah the guys name is Matt I've built a few crawlers for him the last few years. That was one he just wanted reworked. We swapped out the leaf springs for some 1/8 scale shocks with 100wt oil it worked really well.

I really wasn't anything special as far as parts.  Stock axial axles, custom steel drive shafts, RR outputs, Novak rooster crawler esc, and that was about it.  Everything else was scratch built like leafs from a bandsaw blade, grill from aluminum, fenders with steel rod and sheet metal, and obviously the sheet metal tub.  Plans were to buy a set of the Rc4wd k44's, but ended up having to sell it for rent money.  Really wish I didn't have to sell that one so quick
