Hi, my name is Dj and I have been going on the Naches trails the last couple years with a friend. I have had so much fun that I decided to get my own rig. I wanted a CJ but ended up with a Cherokee for the extra room to take the family on a few trips Next Summer. I have enjoyed reading the ride reports here, and maybe I will share some of mine too. My Cherokee is a 1988 four door with 33" worn down tires, and locked diffs front and rear. This picture is taken at Ranks with my friends CJ in the background.

He is the "flex" picture.  I hopefully will get it out more after grape harvest.  I spent most the summer just wheeling with my buddy, so I am ready to drive my own.  With the low gears I should be able to go back to a bigger tire, and its locked front and rear.

I know it's been awhile, I am just starting to feel good enough to start checking forums again.  When I posted on here I was feeling sick and found out I had stage four cancer in my colon.  Needless to say tons of life changing things chemo, radiation gutting me like a fish . Been hell but I miss the trails.

I have moved to a small town in n.e. Wa called Republic.
I am looking forward to taking my Sammy out this spring as I feel better.

Are you in remission?? Congrats on fighting cancer!! Not to many people walk away from Colon cancer. I'm getting to the age where checkups are beginning to be a reality... it's scary stuff. North Idaho trailblazers are having their cabin fever run in April that would be a great run for you and hook you up with some awesome locals in your area
