After a few ideas, , some craigslisting..and some fab time mixed with a tight budget...here is what I came up with as my grocery getter, tow rig/ off road truggy, I used a 86 ford f-250 for the donor and the only thing that remains is the frame, 6.9 liter with ATS turbo, C-6, steering box and column.  A friend of mine was instrumental in assisting with the cage work and helping me skin it... My neighbor  was inspriational and some of his fab work is illustrated in the frenched winch out back....I inspired with this build to have an all around vehicle...something I can use for farm implements, tow a trailer, and if it so happens that I can wheel the piss out of it...all the better. It is set up with Dana 60 with hysteer from sky's, 4.56 with detroit locker, 14 bolt with 4.56, detroit locker and sky's disc brake kit, atlas 4 speed bolted behind the C-6....5" exhaust is from the collection point to a stack located behind the cab.... My other rig that I put miles on is a 79 bronco...it's too ugly to be photographed at this stage of its being but it runs good but is definitely not an eye catcher....Look forward to attending some trail runs soon...just need to finish a few more little projects.

Thank you all for the welcome.....I'm trying to sell the ones on it now...they still have rubber scrub detectors and have about 150 miles on them.no trail time yet... 39.5x13.5xRadial 20" ...I plan on running either the 41" michelins like the spare..or I would like to get some 8lug to 2 1/2 ton rockwell adapters so I can run the 46's I have on the other buggy

My inspiration was based on a few vehicles that I like aspects of... first series bronco, scouts, and hummer.  then i just started with a solid platform and went from there.

That's the way I wanted to build my house...the county is embodied with ignorance and closed minded thinking... they were requiring thousands of dollard of "engineering" for me to throw some trusses on top of boxes...I asked them if they have ever been to a port where these things are full of product and stacked 6 high?... so I stick framed my place and we live above my shop...Still an "ultimate man cave" lol... I've lived in Selah for about 14 years now...but didn't grow up here.  my username used to be ODTJ.....I think we have done some trading chevy joe... it's been a few years though.

I just need to finish up the hydro assist and a couple of gremlins.  It drives...just need some more control over the steering.  We have been working on a lot of projects around the property....building a4x4 obstacle course that will have to be incorporated into a party this spring.  hillclimbs, tire pits and rocks...oh my... camping/boondocking spots, paintball field, pistol range, rifle range, archery range, rc track, gardening instruction, diy/upcycling classes, firearms instruction, surthrival training, we have nicknamed our place Hawkshaven...It's kinda our  playground.

These are the last pictures with the 39.5 Iroks...didn't get a chance to wheel them...they sell better if they aren't torn up.  A guy in Salem building an old studebaker tow rig will be painting the rims green and shoeing his build up.  I'll be using Michelin 12.5R20's.=.41x13.5xR20...same as the spare...for now...moving to the 46's when these wear out...ordering 20x12 rims this week. as soon as the camper van gets out of the shop....finish the hydro assist and maybe a heater installed. The last pic is of yoga dog..lol.
