Ok, I glanced through this really quick and I am still stumped on what the issue is with running bigger tires? As long as you meet the width restriction who cares how big your tires are? In my opinion, the bigger the tire the easier it is for a rig to get through a trail or over an obstacle. More ground clearance and more traction. With the smaller tires you have to hit some obstacles with speed and spin the tires more to keep momentum, which digs holes and hurts trails... So the tire size issue is nothing more than something for people to complain about.

As mentioned before, all of these issues being talked about boil down to the person behind the wheel. NOT the rig itself. The driver decides to take his rig down a trail it shouldn't be on, the driver cuts down trees so he can fit his rig up the trail, ect.. Its just like the gun issues.. Guns don't kill people, people kill people... Rigs don't destroy trails, the turd behind the wheel destroys trails...

If you have a minute, head over and take a look (and chime) in on this thread http://www.pnw4wda.o...ad.php?t=3665
See what the PNW has to say about all of this. I encourage everyone to voice your thoughts and opinions on it.

Some great conversation happening on the PNW4WDA forum right now....would like to see more folks participate and share their opinion. Please remember to keep it civil....we want to ATTACK THE PROCESS, NOT THE PEOPLE. The PNW4WDA is rich with history and many folks have worked very hard to get us to this point. Now is the time to figure out how we can take the Association to the next level. Please participate.
