"On any average Wednesday in Las Vegas the sound that fills the Las Vegas Blvd strip are the sounds of tourists walking down the street, taxi cabs, and street performers sitting on curbs looking to make a few bucks. Today however was not your average day in Las Vegas."

As a kid I remember going to the MINT 400 with my dad. Now seeing my own truck rolling down LV BLVD is a awesome sight to see. Owning a successful Trophy Truck team takes a lot of hard work, passion and surrounding yourself with the right people. Doing that has helped make today what it is. For all the years, all the people, the sponsors, the adventures, the fans, I am forever thankful. And to my dad, the one who started it all, Thank you.

We had a good run today and were battling for the lead most of the day. Looks like a 3rd place when all was done. Thank you to all the race fans who came out!

What a race! We came up 42 seconds short of the overall win @themint400. We gave it all we had and in the end it just wasn't enough. Here's how it unfolded.
The start was interesting to say the least. It was a side-by-side start with me starting next to Bryce. I qualified 2nd and Bryce 3rd so I should have had advantage with the better faster line. Well they lined me up on the right side and the first turn was a hard left before the 2 lines come back together. Logic tells you that the left line was the shorter line and therefore faster line so Bryce beat me off the start which was pretty lame, but I knew we had a lot of racing to go. We settled into a groove and stayed right behind Bryce. Then I hit a rock at mile 25 on lap 1 which caused us to lose air in the left rear tire. We were able to make it to pit 1 to change it, and the guys did a great job only allowing Voss to get around us. We ran the next 1.75 laps clean and remained about 3rd or 4th on corrected time, with @brycemenzies7 and @maccachren21 leading the race back and forth.

Coming into the main pit going out on our 3rd and last lap, we had to pit for fuel and tires and Rob Mac passed us in the pit. I knew Rob and Bryce we have to have a problem in order for us to have a shot at a win. I got another flat tire at the same exact spot I did on lap 1, and we had to change it ourselves. We continued to race hard knowing it ain't over till it's over. Soon we passed Rob pulled over with an issue, and then Bryce about 10 miles later.
Lofton was the only truck in front of us and had us by about 2.5 minutes at this point with about 55 miles to go. Knowing we needed to make up quite a bit of time, I put the pedal down and let it all hang out. We came up 42 seconds short of the win but had a hell of a time trying!
Thanks to Mad Media and Best in the Desert for putting on a fun and safe event, to the TSCO Racing team and volunteers, and to my family, friends and fans for supporting me.
Lastly, a big congrats is in order for Justin Lofton on back to back overall wins, an impressive feat for sure.
So far a 3rd and a 2nd overall this year and I can't complain about that. Being the 1st loser by such a close margin leaves a sour taste, especially after all the hard work the TSCO Racing team put into this race. It only makes us more hungry to win the next one. Onward! ‪#‎BebosBack‬ ‪#‎Mint400‬

Second time the steering rack bolts have sheared off, we were off to a great start and running straight up the wash and the truck just turned 90 to the left and almost rolled us... bolts were checked last night so wasn't an issue we could have prevented. Beyond frustrated having such a fast truck and being taken out by stupid failures! Be back to come up with a new setup to prevent it. Thanks for all the support from everyone helping us!

Words can't describe how I feel right now but I guess I'm getting used to this feeling. First off I want to say sorry to all my partners and fans. We had The Mint 400 win in our hands with only 50 miles to go with a 3 minute lead. We played it safe all day, passing often for the lead after the first lap and then set the pace for the rest of the race till my steering rack decided to lose the seals and lose all the power steering oil. Guess I need to find better parts that will at least make it 350 miles. My team did amazing all day in the pits and prepping the truck. Thanks for sticking behind me everyone. Onto the next one.
