What form are you buying the wood in and what finish are you using? Are they slick without checkering?

Nice job by the way.

Thanks, I'm leaving this wood with a lot of detail smooth with no checkering. I'm using minwax polyurethane from a spray can to seal em up.
I got that maple in knife handle blanks, they were 6x1.5x 3/8 or something.

The two sets on the right sold as soon as I put pictures up, so that leaves me with the not so cool sets until I buy some more.

I have a bunch of grips made up out of blue pine and a few hickory sets. These are my practice grips, I got a wood checkering set last night... It's gonna take some time to learn that skill.

For those of you that have a .30-.30, and want some killin power I would recommend this ammo...
https://www.buffalob...ct_detail&p=222
a friend of mine has it and likes it alot.  It is a serious elephant killer -190 grain at 2100 FPS and they call it buffalo bore for a reason.

Savage Model 10 bolt action 30-06 with a thumbhole stock, Leupold VX-3 3.5-10 x50 scope.  This rifle was my fathers and is over 20 years old and has never been fired. I had bought it for my dad so that him and I could go hunting together but life got in the way and we never had a chance. He passed away 1 1/2 years ago so when he did my mom gave me the rifle back. But then I had to decide what I was going to do with it. So I decided to take a chance and buy a stock from Stocky's Stocks. That is where I got thumbhole stock from. Then I took it to a gunsmith over in Monroe and had him mount and bore sight the scope after he swapped out the stocks.

This is a BS post. NONE of you should be posting your firearms on social media!!!! Gives the liberal politicians proof  of who owns what. Remember, everything on the Internet is traceable forever.

It's there right to post the pictures.  I wouldn't only because I don't want to give somebody a reason to kick my door in.
